This roster is stacked at linebacker and tight end. The offense would run primarily out of Ace (12 personnel) stretching to 4-wide on passing downs with Jimmy Smith in the slot and Gronk flexed. Thomas would see the majority of the time at running back. Watters would come in as the 3rd down back and Jim Taylor would take short yardage/goal line and full back duties in 2 back sets. The O-line is stacked to run the ball, which will lead to a lot of play action for the tight ends and allow Favre to do his gunslinger thing.
The defense would be a base 4-3 cover 2, allowing Dawkins and Krause each to take half the field and roam. Linebackers would go Ham at Sam, Singletary at Mike, and Bell at Will. Lambert could be brought in heavy packages and short yardage. Hendricks, Jackson, and Tippett can each be subbed in in pass rushing packages.
Hester takes all the returning duties. Forrest Gregg would double duty as the teams coach, as he is the winningest coach in NFL history that was drafted in the second round as a player.
I call this team the Los Angeles Second-Choices.
