I think the offense would use a lot of 11 personnel (both under center and in the gun) with Barry Sanders as the single back. Jim Brown would take the short yardage and goal line carries. Walter Payton would take third down back duties. Marshall Faulk would share some third down back reps and see some time in the slot in 3 and 4 wide situations. The WRs would see Rice at the Z, Moss at the X, and Harrison in the slot. Ditka gets the start at TE, but Gonzalez would see most of the time in passing situations. Bruce Matthews would get the start at center, as Bednarik would be too undersized for today’s game.

The defense would run a base 4-3, but could get creative on passing downs with the amount of pass rushers and shutdown DBs. For example, a 5 man front with Bruce Smith, Alan Page, and Julius Peppers with their hands in the dirt, Lawrence Taylor and Derrick Thomas off the edge, and Ray lewis and/or Junior Seau in the middle with cover zero on the back end. Sanders and R. Woodson are the primary, shutdown corners with Green covering the slot. Lott takes the SS, backed up by Polamalu, and Reed at the FS, backed up by Atwater.

Desmond Howard takes the primary punt and kick return duties, with Tim Brown and Deion Sanders seeing time on kick and punt returns respectively. All coached by Bud Grant, as he was a first round pick by the Eagles in 1950.

I’d name the team the New York First-Rounders
