As the XFL Summer Showcases have gone on, we’ve been compiling a XFL Player Pool of all the players who have participated, as well as players that have had reported interest in the league. The link above takes you to our Google Sheet with all the player information. Below we will take a look at the breakdown of players.

College Breakdowns

Here is how the college conferences breakdown from the 887 players in the pool.

70.1% – FBS
16.8% – FCS
8.8% – Division II
1.9% – Division III
0.8% – NAIA
0.9% – International
0.6% – Juco
0.1% – Division 1 (non-football)

Of the 622 players that played in the FBS, 386 or 62.1% played at a Power 5 Conference school. That is 43.5% of the overall player pool

The XFL obviously drew interest from players that have participated in other spring football leagues. Of the 887 players in our XFL player pool, 337 of them had played in either The Alliance of American Football, Your Call Football, or The Spring League.
