This is a stacked roster, especially at Corner and Center. I went back and fourth a bunch of times on whether I would start Moon or Warner, but ultimately decided to go Warner because of his ability to perform on the big stage. The offense would run out of a 3 wide pistol with a power running scheme. Holmes takes primary back duties, with Foster coming in on third down and Motley taking the short yardage/goal line carrier. Smith would line up at the Z, Pearson at the X, and Welker in the Slot.
The defense would utilize the stacked secondary. The base would be a hybrid nickel, with Wake and Harrison playing the DEs, but stood up (hybrid DE/OLB). Mills and Fletcher would handle the linebacker positions in the middle. Night Tran would play on an island, with Brown wide on the other side, and Thomas at the nickel. They would play a lot of mix coverage. Wood would take the FS, with Shell at the SS.
Cribbs would handle all of the returns duties, with Motley back deep on kickoffs as well. The Magician takes the long snapping duties. Dan Reeves takes the helm as head coach; he was picked up as an undrafted free agent with the Cowboys in 1965.
I call this team the Wyoming Unwanteds.
